We employ a team of highly qualified construction professionals at our head office and seven permanent Project and Site Managers, all of whom hold qualifications appropriate for their roles. Our multi-discipline site operatives all have formal trade qualifications and are part of a continual training plan to develop and update their skill levels.
The Company boasts a wealth of experience undertaking projects for public and private clients across all sectors, with contract values that generally range from £50k to £4.5m, including education, hotels, healthcare, commercial, listed buildings and residential, including high specification luxury residencies. We would be delighted to provide further details of our portfolio and can offer references from our clients, both historic and present. In addition to traditional and collaborative procurement methods we offer a full design and build service.
Many of our clients have worked with us repeatedly throughout the last decade and we are proud to have forged close and long term relationships with them. We have worked hard to secure our reputation as an established, reliable, regional contractor and have achieved this through our considerate approach and successful project delivery. Although each project is unique, our methods remain consistent and we assign to each contract a dedicated professional team. Works packages which we do not carry out in-house are sub-contracted to trusted supply chain partners with whom we work closely to achieve mutually beneficial results, on programme and to a quality standard that we demand.
We employ a health and safety manager qualified with the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety and all of Team Northern Construction’s employees hold appropriate CSCS accreditation. We register our sites with the Considerate Constructors Scheme, whether a condition of the contract or not; in 2008 our performance was formally recognised with a National Considerate Constructors award. The Company has also received Civic Trust and RICS awards for its projects.
