A new build and refurbishment project to create a residential centre within the Lake District National Park at Howtown on the shores of Ullswater.  Designed to offer outdoor adventures for young people, the centre operates as a satellite to the existing centre across the lake.

The centre captures a number of sustainable features, including a ‘green’ sedum roof, energy efficient fuel and boiler choice, intelligent lighting and rainwater harvesting.

The project was officially opened by HRH The Duke of York.
