This major project consisted of alterations and extensions to the existing Visitors Centre buildings to provide new café, shop, offices, bike hire, ‘Go Ape’ facilities and associated external works.   Also included was the construction of a new wood fuel boiler plant and workshop complete with a site wide heating system feeding the entire establishment.

The works comprised a mixture of buildings and construction techniques, some which are in-keeping with the existing structures and utilised our specialism of working with traditional Lakeland materials,  plus units of a more modern and innovative design and appearance.
